About us

Easter 1993, Monika and Michael Höhn founded the Project Ometepe Nicaragua together with Nicaragua friends. Since 1995, it is supported by a initiative circle of honorary members, and parishes of the Protestant District at the Agger. From the Nicaraguan side, the POA (Proyecto Ometepe Alemania) is lead by a team of several members. Alternating visits from the German an Nicaraguan side strengthen the process of mutual learning. Personal experiences stimulate the intercultural and personal exchange and produce new initatives.
